Animalese: Gibberish or Genius?

Video games have come a long way since the 1980’s. The beep sounds of the old-school Atari have been replaced by cinematic scores and professional voice acting. However, some games pay respect to their roots by using beep sounds in creative ways. Animal Crossing is one of those cases, since it mixes those sounds to create dialogue for its characters. In the newer games of the series, something even more interesting is used to create dialogue: actual language.

Far Cry Primal – Official Reveal Trailer

Far Cry Primal is a first-person shooter video game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft. It was released worldwide for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on February 23, 2016, and for Microsoft Windows on March 1, 2016. It is the first Far Cry game set in pre-modern times. It revolves around the story of Takkar, who starts off as an unarmed hunter and rises to become the leader of a tribe.

In 1986 the videogame company Squaresoft was on the verge of bankruptcy and videogame designer Hironobu Sakaguchi had the plan to retire after completing the project he was doing, so he called it Final Fantasy, because it would be his final game.
